The spotlight shines on Smart Garden Products as they break ground on the construction of their second warehouse and showroom facilities in Peterborough. This major construction project is on track to conclude in November, providing an additional 70,000 square feet of warehouse space, 12 dock level loading doors, 4 level access loading doors and over 22,000 square feet of office and showroom space, massively increasing the capacity for Smart to showcase their ever-expanding range of products as well as having yet more space for stock.
Reflecting on this, Jonathan Stobart, Managing Director, said: "When we built Eureka, we didn't appreciate just how quickly we would fill it, as consistent annual increases in sales over the last seven years means that we are now at full capacity. The introduction and meteoric growth of our Christmas business has put further pressure on Eureka, which has resulted in the need to create both more warehousing and additional showroom space. The title of Helios is particularly apt with solar products still being the king product category within Smart, although sales of the Three Kings Christmas brand will likely soon take pole position!"
