Smart is now in the Glove & Footwear business having bought the assets of Briers. This will be quite a bit of work to integrate into our business but is a good fit and having a very similar customer base, means will be a boost for customers who will be able to order even more products from the same Smart source.
The range will sit neatly alongside our existing product groups – in fact the Briers products are often sited in-store adjacent to our Outside In ranges.
There will inevitably be several stock shortages for the Spring season with the business having previously been starved of cash and stock for some time, however we’ll put this right over the coming months and will relaunch the refreshed brand to the trade at Glee in September, along with a modest selection of new designs for autumn delivery.
So, the boot’s firmly on the Smart foot…!
